About this deal

Apply regularly to achieve the recommended free chlorine level of 3-5 mg/l (ppm) for hot tubs or 1-3 mg/l (ppm) for swimming pools. These tablets are slow release, long lasting and have a minimum effect on the pH of the water for a tablet. Do not add the tablets directly to your pool; they have a high chlorine content. Always use a clean applicator according to the directions below, with no other products present. A skimmer is the fastest way to add chlorine to the pool, with a tablet taking around five to seven days to dissolve. You’ll need one tablet per 10,000 gallons of water here. If you opt for a floating dispenser, it’ll take around 10 to 14 days to dissolve and you’ll need one tablet per 7,000 gallons of water. Be sure to clean your skimmer or dispenser thoroughly before every use. Skimmer: Place one tablet in the skimmer basket per 45,450 litres (10,000 gallons) and adjust tablet numbers as necessary to take account of your water flow to achieve 1–3 mg/l (ppm) relatively consistently Note: If using in skimmer baskets we would suggest you run the pump often to prevent a build up of chlorine. Please ensure children to not have access to the skimmer as this could be dangerous.

While unstabilised tablets are available, stabilised chlorine tablets are recommended for outside pools. This is because sunlight can break down chlorine and the chemicals used in the stabilised tablets ensures the chlorine remains effective no matter how much sun exposure your pool gets. For chlorine feeders: Fill the dispenser and follow feeder instruction manuals on flow regulation to maintain required chlorine levels. Stabilised chlorine tablets are a slow-dissolving dose of chlorine that’s released into the water over time. It’s a low-maintenance way of keeping on top of your cleaning routine, reducing the work you have to put into cleaning your pool. For those who have an outdoor pool, it’ll need a few more items to keep it clear and clean. This includes stabilised chlorine as well as algaecide and flocculant. For ease of use, our 200g multifunctional tablets contain them all. Floating Dispenser: Fill the Trichlor floating dispenser with tablets and adjust the aperture mechanism at the bottom of the dispenser to obtain the 1–3 mg/l (ppm) desired range. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 1–3 mg/l (ppm). The dispenser should be removed from the pool while swimmers are bathing.

Multifunction tablets are a type of stabilised chlorine tablet that features algaecide and flocculant for added cleaning benefits. With this combination of cleaning agents, pools will be cleared more effectively. Dose rate is normally 1 to 2 tablets (placed into the skimmer basket, floating dispenser or chlorine feeder) per 45,450 litres (10,000 gallons) of water. The number of tablets required will depend on pool usage and weather conditions. Floating dispenser: This takes around 10 to 14 days to fully dissolve and one tablet is required per 7,000 gallons of water. You’ll need to make sure the dispenser is thoroughly cleaned before you add the tablet. Sunlight can break down chlorine, removing its disinfectant properties. However, stabilised – rather than unstabilised – chlorine tablets contain cyanuric acid which ensures the chlorine remains effective even when exposed to direct sunlight. So, by opting for stabilised chlorine tablets, it saves you the hassle of having to accurately measure the balance of chlorine and stabiliser yourself. How to use 200g stabilised chlorine tablets

For skimmer baskets: Fill the basket with 2/3 tablets and monitor levels to maintain 1-3 mg/l (ppm) chlorine levels. These multifunctional chlorine tablets are an enhanced tablet containing stabilised chlorine, a clarifier and an algaecide. This is a great solution for keeping your pool or hot tub sparkling clear without the need for separate care products. They are great for ensuring hot tub and swimming pool water is safe and bacteria free. The stabiliser helps minimise chlorine loss to sunlight. The clarifier will keep your water clear and prevent it going cloudy. The algaecide helps prevent algae growth and stops your pool going green. With these ingredients combined these multifunctional tablets help provide the best experience for bathers with minimal maintenance effort. They are slow release and will last around 3–4 days depending on the water flowing over them.
