It was originally designed as an alternative to Pimm's No. 2 for the Canadian market. Originally blended by James Pimm as an aid to digesting oysters in 1840, Pimm’s was also sent out to soldiers, served at Queen Victoria's lunches, and ended up making its debut at Wimbledon in 1971. Here’s the recipe, and as mentioned, feel free to experiment with the fruit but please, don’t skip the mint or the cucumber.
