As far as adjustability, this stand allows you to adjust the wheel height, wheel angle, pedal position, and even which side the shifter is mounted on. Even with the sturdy steel frame and adjustments, you can still fold this stand up in seconds and store it away when not in use. Another important factor to deciding which stand to buy is how space efficient and portable it will be. Chances are, you will need to move your stand when you are not using it. Maybe you have a multi-purpose desk, or maybe you race in the living room and need to clear it out after your session. The good news is that sim racing stands tend to be pretty small to begin with. They aren’t full rigs with seats, so their footprint isn’t that large. Features To mount the wheel unit to a racing rig using the bolt mounting points, you’ll need two (2) M6X1 screws to securely fasten the wheel unit to the racing rig. First, the stand is not really noticeably lighter than the old one. I would cut some "speed holes" into the base-plate specifically to lighten it up. Also, I messed up when cutting the mounting holes for the pedal-box so the inside pair of bolts do not line up. The bolt pattern for this pedal-box is asymmetric, and I accidentally cut mine with the inside bolts offset towards the wrong side (they would be perfect if the pedal-box was turned 180 degrees, but of course that would make it difficult to drive). No big deal since the 4 outside bolts are more than enough to hold it. For compatibility, you can mount most sim racing wheels, such as Logitech, Thrustmaster, and Fanatec. Before mounting and securing the wheel unit, make sure to connect the power adapter, pedal unit, and Driving Force Shifter attachment (where applicable) to the connection ports on the underside of the wheel unit. I designed the stand in Pro/Engineer, and output .dxf files that I can open in Cut2D to generate the G-code I need to cut it on my homebuilt CNC router. The pedal-box hole layout on the baseplate is specific to the G920 and probably won't work with other brands, but the top plate should work with any wheel that has a clamping mechanism (I used the built-in clamps on mine even though it has threaded inserts for mounting bolts).
