Put both flat cats up, Lola blue is investigating the bedroom one but its v nice having fresh air in the flat as have both windows open in lounge & flat and haven't been ale to do that for a while. Hi - just to let you know I have fitted both blinds, images attached, very pleased. It dawned on me however that other people must have the same difficulty, or was it just me being paranoid about my cats? Searching through the internet I found that not only were there a lot of people with the same problem (cat safety vs an overheated house) but there did not seem to be an existing solution available. Dear Dominic, Thank you to you and all at Flat Cats for the very courteous, helpful and speedy service I received. I'm attaching a pic so you can see them both having a good nosey. Once your cat is comfortable with the harness, you can introduce the leash and practice walking indoors before venturing outside.As owners of many cats over the years, we have had pet window screens installed on multiple windows. We have found guards to work very well when our cats were kittens, which in turn allowed them to learn when putting themselves in a dangerous situation. The effectiveness of window screens is often down to the fitting of the net or mesh and also how obstructive your cat is, sometimes more destructive cats will claw and climb window nets to break through, but from experience we found this only happened on the odd occasion. Protecting your cat from falling out a window can be easier said than done as most cats will try their hardest to break through any window guards, but some ways that you can try are:I have already sung my praises of FlatCats to my anyone who will listen lol.
