It’s rich in saponins, which are like nature’s anti-inflammatories and have been shown to calm irritated skin and aid in wound healing. The texture is great and it lathers into a beautiful foam, leaving my face perfectly clean and moisturised. Rather than looking like you’ve just applied foundation and nothing else, it gives a your-skin-but-better finish because it adapts so well to your skin tone.

That said, we’re sceptical of how well this would work on deeper skin tones without leaving a grey, ashy cast, so we’d recommend using it as a base product with your usual foundation applied over the top to avoid this. I also love that this cream is actually improving my skin rather than trying to counteract all the clogged pores and blemishes makeup can cause.

The product itself feels quite heavy and thick and doesn't blend out in the same way that a tinted moisturiser does.
