About this deal

With a setting unlike any other to explore, and mysteries lying buried, waiting to be uncovered, Horizon Zero Dawn is a game you'll want to dig deep into. The only two "big" games that I bought last year at launch were Uncharted 4 (and we all know how that turned out for me) and The Last Guardian (still haven't got around to playing it). As for the game itself, it's too early to say overall, as I'm only a couple of hours into it, but I can say that if the introductory / game training mission is a measure of what's to come, gamers are in for an amazing ride. With a relationship with Horizon developer Guerrilla Games already in place from their earlier Killzone guides, the Future Press team appears to have drawn upon all possible resources to flesh out their current book’s content.

This finely-made bow, fit for a captain’s hand, puts additional stopping power behind every arrow fired. Here you see some art from one of the better locations in the game, i won’t spoil it here but i must say that this is one of those side missions that you really must complete as the story is just brilliant. Not fond of these editions though because they are SO big - the box would look daft on my gaming cupboard. I bought the artbook, which was a bit of a let down because it doesn't show all the characters in the game, just a lot of concept art and no in game polygon models.Hone Your Combat Skills: Aloy has a staggering repertoire of hunting tools and abilities to learn and master. The collector's edition also contains an artbook by Dark Horse and a statue of main character Aloy by Gentle Giant, which the team is immensely proud about. She moves softly and fast through the land, and it's a joy to collect items in the open world and watch wildlife move around you.

I've just checked stats and after one month I've completed just under 39% of the game over 45 hours of playing {*}. The contents of the box however were completely pristine, and who but my husband would worry about the outer box. Aloy’s face expression is the only thing i am not 100% happy about , i mean, i have played the game for 60+ hours and i have yet to see her looking like that, i guess the game just looks too good for its own good so that a figurine ends up only being a look alike. I'm not usually one for collector's editions, but having followed the hype around this game prior to release and the 40+ hours of perfection that followed, I can safely say that I have absolutely no regrets about purchasing this. Early chapters start with setup, controls, and combat basics, while later ones cover quests and gear, including a full-fledged bestiary listing all possible foes both mechanical and organic. With that in mind, we’ve included a gorgeous world map poster to make sure you won’t have trouble finding whatever you desire. A Beautiful Bonus: To really know everything about the world of Horizon Zero Dawn you'll need to explore its outer reaches and collect every artifact and trinket you can. but then again, one could just fire up the game and enjoy it there as fast travel and screenshot mode will give you some amazing shots in just about every frame in the game. Little Aloy is already a loveable character, with special much emotion that you can really feel as you watch and move her through the open world. The Nora are extraordinarily skilled and inventive at using machine components in their own devices.
