About this deal

It's a bit unusual that I've stuck with the same product for quite this long, even if I do alternate with trying new mascaras. The most noticeably different formula is the 24 Hr which seems to be made of house paint (I kid, it’s oil-based rather than water-based; very very longwearing, but does not claim to be waterproof). Even though mascara is the one product that I've used since I was about 14, and I don't really go out without it, I find it relatively difficult to review. Pro-tip: Pair with Covergirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner for extra contrast that brings your eyes out even more.

In 2009, CoverGirl released a press release celebrating 6 million tubes of LashBlast Volume sold in the first year of sales, and it continues to grow. I picked up Jordana Best Lash Extreme this week and so far, it looks promising as a regular mascara!Clump Crusher Mascara by Lash Blast loads lashes with 200% more volume and knocks out clumps for good! Just natural lashes with an accidental dusting of COVERGIRL Simply Ageless foundation on them (if you’re curious why I use anti-aging makeup even though I’m just 30, more on that here).

Always use in a sanitary manner, do not share; do not dilute; never use if your eye is irritated, infected, or scratched. This clean formula is free from parabens, sulfate, talc and mineral oil, and it’s infused with argan and marula oils to help condition lashes while you’re wearing it. It has a volume-boosting formula and brush are designed to max out each and every lash, leaving you with the ultimate big lash look. Benzyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Panthenol,Phenoxyethanol, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Sodium Laureth Sulfate,Trisodium EDTA, Simethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Iron Oxides.LashBlast's patented volume-boosting hypoallergenic mascara formula and patent-pending brush are designed to max out each and every lash, leaving you with the ultimate big-lash look. Probably the strongest recommendation for this mascara that I can give you is the fact that, despite trying many dozens of other mascaras over the years, I have bought at least one tube of Covergirl Lashblast Volume annually for almost a decade now--and in several of those years I bought multiple tubes.

From a normal viewing distance, it just looks like I have naturally decent lashes without any goop on them. Volume, Fusion and 24 Hours all essentially have the same wand – a large bulbous full shape with staggered and evenly spaced bristles. My favourite remains the original Volume for dramatic lashes, but Clump Crusher has also won my heart as a great everyday mascara. The shape seems to be a nod to the original COVERGIRL Lash Blast Volume Mascara—a chunky, easy to grip design that carries over well. I happen to have all of CoverGirl’s LashBlast mascaras in my stash, so I thought I’d do an overview post to show the differences between them, and my preferences.
