About this deal

Personally, what I look for in a foundation ismedium coverage – not too light (that's what my best tinted moisturizers are for), and not too heavy or opaque, I don't want to look like I'm wearing a mask. Crucially (some might say annoyingly) it can't be too shiny – it has to reach that glowing sweet spot without looking – well, sweaty. It also has to stay in place all day, as there's nothing worse than looking in the office bathroom mirror at 3pm to realize that your base has totally vanished. The airless pump dispenser means that the hygiene aspect is great. No grubby fingers or brushes being dipped into a big pot here - this means the formula is sealed, safe, and will last safely to its expiration date. The downside is that this makes it hard to recycle, but you can recycle the glass compartment separately, which is something. The foundation formula

description":"Add a pop of colour to your cheeks – instantly brighten your complexion for every season with a hint of carefully applied blusher or bronzer. No matter your face shape, with the right techniques you can transform your features for a defined look. When it comes to finding your perfect foundation match, the struggle can be very real. But we have a solution. Rather than filling up your arm with several shade swatches or just guessing which foundation is suitable based on your skin tone, we know a few shade-matching methods that actually work. They all start with choosing a foundation that offers a range across a variety of skin tones and undertones.

The finish for both applications was quite radiant, so if you're a matte fan, you may not get on with this.No matter how you apply it, this is not the best full-coverage foundation. I'd say it's medium coverage, verging on the lighter side. Using a brush helps it look more opaque, and you can build it up in light layers, but you'll still need to use concealer to really cover any imperfections you want to vanish. It felt nice on my skin – light and comfy – like I wasn't wearing foundation at all. It stayed in place when I added my bronzer and blush too, which isn't the case for a lot of other bases. A pretty brilliant result all-round. How about after a day of wear? As the perfect makeup/beauty hybrid, this hydrating formula combines the advantages of a skincare serum with the radiance and coverage of a foundation. With 9 available super-blendable shades, it easily blends onto various skin tones, leaving skin with a naturally luminous finish for a flawless nude look.

I had three different shades to try but eventually landed on 2N Vanilla – a neutral shade in one of their lightest options. L'Oreal offers warm and cool options for all of the shades of this base, which is great for matching all undertones. I have certainly tested this Tinted Serum extensively. I’ve worn masks for hours where I could feel sweat dripping underneath it. Bearing in mind it is not usual for houses in the UK to have air con, I’ve done a workout on the hottest day of the year, gone from muggy rooms to ones with fans. I’ve sat in a hot car with my air con off as I was listening for sounds as I thought something was wrong with my car. It’s been into air conditioned supermarkets and then hot outdoors, humid walks etc. Nothing phases this product. It’s not transfer proof with masks, a little will come off. If your veins appear blue or purple, you’re cool-toned, while green veins indicate warm-toned skin. If you’re not sure or you see a mix of blue and green, you may have neutral undertones. Ingredients: Foundations sit on your skin's surface and their ingredients should be compatible with your skin type to enhance your overall complexion. The L’Oréal Paris True Match Tinted Serum Foundation Light 0.5-2 is formulated with Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and replenish the skin whilst giving makeup coverage. It's important to understand the ingredients used in foundations as they are sitting on the skin for most of the day and can actually help improve your skin beyond cosmetic purposes. Once you know your undertone and depth category, here are the exact shades you have to choose from.

While most people probably already have an inkling of what their skin tone is, the same can’t always be said for undertones. The difference between the two is that your skin tone refers to your overall complexion, whereas undertone refer to the colors that come through your complexion and affect its overall hue. To easily determine your undertone try one of these two methods below:

We forget to consider important things like finish, formula and coverage, and which types of foundation are best for our skin’s actual needs. Since foundation is, well, the foundation of any great makeup look, it can be no easy task to pinpoint which product is perfect for you.

However, with this product, since it’s a skin tint, you need your skin to be dry? So I question how plumping and hydrating the hyaluronic acid would be. I’m no scientist though, so maybe there are other things in the formula that promote this. If you’re after a lightweight, easy to use skin tint that will last through hot, humid weather, then the L’Oreal True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum might just be exactly what you’re looking for! I will definitely be wearing it all Summer long, it’s so easy to wear. It looks gorgeous, it wears super well, it never looks heavy on the skin. I just love it! My L'Oreal True Match Foundation review couldn't be concluded until I really put it through its paces, with two full-on days – one day in the office, which included a two-hour, slightly sweaty commute and meetings, and the other a busy Saturday which mostly involved running errands, rounded off with a few drinks with friends. I will say Hyaluronic Acid is high up on the ingredient list too, but below Dimethicone and Alcohol Denat. I could be miles away and L’Oreal’s chemists have found a way for the Hyaluronic Acid to still be hydrating. However, from what I’ve read and heard over the years, that’s not how I have been lead to believe HA works.Discover the True Match Nude Tinted Serum Foundation – with the plumping power of 1% Pure Hyaluronic Acid, now tinted. I find the finish a bit powdery actually. It reminds me very much of the Lancome Miracle Air de Teint which has been discontinued. I used to absolutely love that stuff and one year I wore nothing but all Summer. The shades were a bit crap, too warm or too grey. However, since there wasn’t much coverage, I could just about get away with it. Since that product was discontinued, I’ve been on a quest to find something like it. And I finally have! This performs just like it, it smells the same, it feels the same on the brush and with how it applies. It lasts just as long, it’s easy to wear for Summer and I’ve found a shade much better for me! Although I find the whole plumping tinted serum aspect confusing, the actual product is gorgeous! I definitely agree that the formula is sheer and flexible between skin tones. It does leave a flawless finish. It’s super lightweight on the skin and you wouldn’t think you were wearing anything. Shake the bottle well before using. Apply 2-3 drops on your palms. Spread lightly with your fingers, just as if you were using your daily serum, by smoothing a small amount onto clean skin. Recyclable Uniting skincare and makeup… yes it has a skincare ingredient, but I’ve already said above how I’m not sure how effective the HA would be in this formulation. I don’t find the formula overly drying, but it’s also not super hydrating either…. It does have a lot of alcohol in it to help it evaporate, so to me that’s a more drying ingredient.
