A stunning fragrance, Inspired by Amber Aoud - 771 is an amazing aromatic mix of sweet spices and chocolate. These run throughout the year in a dedicated teaching room/laboratory at the Cotswold Perfumery in the beautiful village of Bourton-on-the-Water. To my nose the ambergris and spices sit at the forefront throughout its life making it a little linear but oh my, I couldn't stop sniffing! It brings out aromas of dark leather and cedar, while at its base are revealed notes of black pepper, suede and soft touches of apple blossoms.Benzoin has a strong, sweet smell, similar to vanilla with more balsamic, spicy, animalic ever so slightly burnt note. It was the most perfect moisturising aftershave lotion that I have ever come across as other reviewers have said. I have sadly run out of the perfume but have a little burn time left on the candle I got in the same scent.
