I finished reading this several hours ago, letting this book process as there was much to think about. It does move at a slower pace after around the halfway point as all the storylines unfold and these characters grapple with their new realities. There's lots of turmoil, chaos, speculation, conjecture, disappointment, fear, and total craziness within the pages. It made for a fascinating thing to imagine, what would you do if you knew you really had to make the most of every day? This was saved by relevant and admirable explorations about relationships and some very poignant existential questions about quality of life.If you received a string, would you rather know exactly what it means or have a vague idea of what it means? The premise is original, and you’re bound to be left questioning what you would do with your own box.
