About this deal

In my opinion, the only people who should skip a dog hair broom are those of you with a hypoallergenic dog or aren’t bothered by dog hair…

Where do I start? Yes it’s a broom but it actually works! It really does collect the dust and dog hairs which now do not float across the wooden floor. It actually pulls the hairs out from the carpet - much better than our vacuum cleaner that shouts from the rooftops how it offers the best suction (at over inflated prices). It’s light and easy to carry around the house too." If you have a hard floor, be it vinyl, wood, stone, concrete then you simply must give this broom a go. It has been a total revelation in our home. Yep, the handle is adjustable. Being on the shorter side, I enjoyed the fact that I could reduce the length to something a little more usable. Just as pet hair is naturally drawn to a rubber glove, it’s also drawn to the bristles in a rubber broom. You can use it on everything from hardwood and linoleum to carpets, sofas, and other upholstery.Handle Length: Your broom handle should be long enough that you can comfortably clean without bending over. In fact, tall pet parents may want to seek out brooms with a handle extension for additional comfort. Here is an ordinary broom. Watch how it leaves behind little bits of dust and debris. Now behold the rubber bristled broom...." - you know how these things go. Please allow me to introduce you to this seemingly innocuous-looking rubber broom from the aptly named Dustpan and Brush Store.

Well, our kitchen, unlike the rest of the rooms in our house with the exception of the dining room, is home to a hard floor. Moulded concrete, as it happens. I imagine reducing the length could be helpful when storing the broom too. Speaking of which, there is a loop at the tip of the handle if you prefer to hang your brooms instead of standing them upright. After the house was overrun with hair, I used one broom to clean before waiting another 4 days to let the hair build up again. Each broom was graded on how well it swept hair from each surface – I even tested some brooms on my couch! One way to protect your furniture from your hound’s hair is to provide your best buddy with clear boundaries for where he can and can’t lounge. An indoor dog gate can help you contain your canine while he’s learning where he can and can’t go.Brushing and bathing your dog on a regular basis can help reduce shedding and eliminate dog-related odors in your house. You can even try out an anti-shedding shampoo which may help your hound hold onto some of his hair. 2. Consider a couch cover. There are a variety of handles to choose from. From telescopic poles that halve in size to rigid 59-inch poles. I highly recommend choosing a rigid handle – the telescopic one had a habit of loosening and collapsing when in use.
