A proper lightweight kids bike, made by a proper bike manufacturer, that is the correct size for your child, will get loads of use. It's designed for children between 100cm and 105cm tall and is a great, hardwearing choice that should last several kids. Strider do have a very good reputation for their balance bikes, so it will be interesting to see if the transition to pedals works as well.
