The FM-206 is a compact multi-port Combined Soldering, Desoldering and SMD Rework Station which includes three ports which can be used for soldering, desoldering or rework tools. Product that complies with the regulated values of 10 substances prohibited by the european rohs directive. This allows soldering at a lower temperature and reducing the thermal impact on components as well as tip oxidation that can shorten tip life. With adjustment mode, what used to be a troublesome procedure is now as simple as entering the measured tip temperature to FX888D.

The FM-203 twin ports allow for simultaneous use of a variety of soldering, desoldering and rework tools.

The FM2024 Desoldering Tool supplied with the FM206 uses the N3 Series Nozzles and the FM2029 Heat tool uses N4 Nozzles. T15 tips are used with the FM2027 and FM2028 Soldering irons used with stations FX951, FX952, FM203, FM204 and FM206. Whatever temperature is selected, it can be displayed on the LCD panel with simple button operations. Includes Soldering Iron and standard soldering tip, as well as a soldering iron stand and cleaning wire. The compact Hakko FX-888D soldering station is the digital successor to the analogue FX-888 soldering station.Specially designed handle and tip provide improved workability when mounting minute, high-density electronic components. There are better and cheaper soldering stations than both of these these days but I'm not up to date on which exact model is the best so not gonna recommend some. For example Farnell/Newark rebrands some Atten stations under their Tenma brand, and sell some compatible tips for those and even have the product codes start with "900m" as the hakko 936 original tips series. Uses T22 tips (not included) and can be used with the Hakko FM-203 soldering station and the FM-206 rework station. The T15 Series includes almost 100 varieties of tip shape and size covering any soldering or rework application.
