Flesh tones also have a nice, lifelike rosiness around the cheeks of the cast. Director Christopher Nolan personally oversaw the remastering of The Dark Knight trilogy films for 4k release, proclaiming that if you can’t watch the movies in the theater the Ultra HD Blu-ray releases are the closest thing you can get at home, with deeper color palettes that more closely match the analog colors of the 35mm film.
