About this deal

Helen: I'd attach a strap to the handle to give you more confidence in the product given the pointers identified above, such as issues with steering and the difficulties when walking where there is a gradient on footpaths. I'd also sew in the padding for the clip the pushchair straps attach into. This is detachable, presumably, so it can be washed but just slides on and off the clip easily meaning it can be lost. Disclaimer: This Micalite ProFold pram was given to me a press sample but I was under no obligation to write about it. I have chosen to write this review as I feel the pram is a good quality product that I am happy to recommend. All words are honest and my own. Emily: I loved that it had a cup holder, but it wasn’t very secure and kept falling off. This wasn’t a huge deal for me, but it would be nice if it was a bit more robust. I also found that the straps come apart very easily, which made them a bit fiddly to do up when my baby was being wriggly. If they clipped together more firmly it would have been a bit easier. Overall though, these were just minor issues on an otherwise fantastic pushchair. What did you think of my Micralite ProFold review? Are you in the middle of choosing a new pram? If you have any further questions about this pram, feel free to leave a comment in the box below.

Quality, as you’d imagine is one of the most important considerations for buying any products. This is especially true for Prams and pushchairs. The next step was to try and narrow down our search even more. So we’ve already looked the prices of products in the Prams and pushchairs category. Then we’ve also looked at the prices of products from Micralite. So this step combines the two and looks specifically at the price you’d expect to pay for Micralite branded products in the Prams and pushchairs category. When we got our first pushchair for George – now almost 6 years ago – I didn’t think one-handed fold was an important feature in a stroller. But have you ever tried to get on a bus or a train on your own when you need to fold down the pushchair whilst also holding your child!? It’s pretty much impossible.Despite these design glitches, I would still recommend the Micralite ProFold and think that it has a huge amount of great features to offer. I think the price is really reasonable and you can trust that you are getting a high quality pram with style and substance.

Thank you for reading our Micralite ProFold Pushchair review tips and guidance. As we mentioned earlier, if you do go on to buy one of these products mentioned, please do drop us a comment as it will be great help to other customers like you.The Micralite ProFold isn’t the lightest pushchair on the market but this actually isn’t a bad thing. We also have the Silvercross Jet which weighs just 5.9kg and I find it to be too lightweight when pushing an older baby. If your toddler weighs twice as much as the pushchair and suddenly leans to the side while you’re pushing then your pushchair will wobble and possibly even tip over. A pushchair needs a bit of weight behind it or it’ll just feel flimsy when pushing a bigger baby or toddler. Freestanding, it takes up even less floor space wherever you store it, but it can also just about fit in the footwell of a large car. In a smaller car, you could rest it on its side in the footwell but you might prefer to leave it in the boot. The first factor that you can look at is the brand. Often we can get a really good understanding of the quality of toys and other gadgets by just looking at the brand. There are some brands that are really well known for great quality, whilst others might be better known for value.(and some are known to be poor in both areas). Yes! The first pushchair I’ve used where you really can fold it down with one hand. It isn’t overly complicated and even my mum can do it (honestly, my mum hasn’t been able to fold any of our pushchairs!) The first is brand. Looking at the brand of the product is often a really good indicator for judging product quality. For example you’d expect a much higher quality product from a brand known for providing excellent quality than you would from an unknown or even a budget brand.
