just had the mira vie shower for under 1 year and there is no hotwater but the pressure is fine. it was very hot then now no hot water.. what is the problem... Easy replacement for a Mira Vista shower although a slightly different footprint so you will have to drill new screw holes in the wall and fill those left. The shower works well. Hello, I have just fitted a Mira vie shower and included an isolator valve in the pipework, will this result in a reduced pressure as the hole is smaller than the 15mm pipe. My Mira Vie shower is about 5 years old and now only produces excessively hot water or cold, nothing between. The shower is never used when other equipment is using water, i.e. washing machine or dishwasher. I do live in an area where the water is not particularly soft. The MK1 mira vie is no longer available, the shower was replaced with the MK2 mira vie 8.5kw, 9.5kw and 10.5kw

If it the temp cutting out you require thermal switch on top of heater, if flow stops you require flow/regulator valve which includes a solenoid. I have to turn the temperature knob to full to get a warm / hot shower can you advise please, Secondly is it a job that I could do myself Hello, it sounds like you are running on half power, you need to establish if it is the heater tank element that has failed or is it just a micro-switch. Excellent value shower, replaced a former Mira model that we had for approx. 8 years, Had the shower for 6 weeks and it does the job, the water temp is easy to adjust and it only takes a few seconds for the water to heat up, recommended.old one lasted 12 years,kept same model,easy to change, hope this lasts as long.does what it says it does.very good value.
