About this deal

Capture crisper, cleaner, better-defined images at high ISOs. The ISO range of 100–12800 is extendable to 50-51200 (equivalent). High Dynamic Range (HDR): combines two shots within a single shutter release to create detailed images of high contrast scenes. Unlimited continuous shooting: capture countless images and produce spectacular light-trail photography. Shoot in continuous release mode with a shutter speed of 4 seconds or slower, and you can record as many high-quality JPEGs or RAW images as your media cards and battery life allow. With an extremely short time gap between each exposure, you can seamlessly join shots of star trails or taillights to beautiful effect, using third-party software. Picture control 2.0: take complete control over sharpening, contrast, brightness, hue, and saturation when shooting stills and video. Ease post-production with Flat setting for maximum dynamic range; fine-adjust detail with Clarity. Settings can be visually adjusted as you shoot, and you can streamline the shooting process by saving different options for movies and stills in a dedicated menu.

Nikon D750 Features

Conversely, rotating the mode dial to the Special Effects option results in only JPEG images being recorded – even if RAW and JPEG recording is selected elsewhere. These Effects can be previewed in Live View mode… and in many cases, previewing an Effect is enough to convince you not to use it. Nikon introduced its new Clarity control to the Picture Control options in the D810, and it’s present on the D750. Clarity adjusts micro contrast, giving the impression of greater sharpness or detail without creating haloes along high-contrast edges – it’s useful for giving images extra bite straight from the camera. Part of the beauty of the Picture Controls is that they can be used when shooting RAW and JPEG files simultaneously, so you have a full color file for processing as well as a treated JPEG. Total Digital Imaging System: draw out the full potential of the D750’s 24.3-MP sensor with the wide range of NIKKOR lenses. With their exceptionally high resolving power, NIKKOR lenses meet the demands of photographers in every field. Also fully compatible with Nikon’s industry-leading Creative Lighting System, the D750 works with a range of versatile Speedlights for creative flash photography on or off-camera. Full detail, full freedom. The all-new sensor offers wide dynamic range plus clean performance across all sensitivities, for images with stunning sharpness and rich tonality. One of the D750’s biggest selling points, however, is its AF system. There’s an array of AF modes and customization options to tailor the system to the photographer and the subject. It takes some getting to know, but it affords pro-level control. Record Full HD (1080p) movies at 50p/60p. Access ISO 100 up to ISO 51200 (equivalent) while filming, and control shutter speed, aperture, and audio levels, too. A dedicated movie menu lets you store all movie settings in one place. If the D750 was still being sold at its original price, it wouldn't be a very appealing buy. But it's now considerably cheaper, so where a couple of years ago its ageing technology might dampened its appeal, its price today brings it into a whole new market, where first-time full frame users can get a very good, very efficient and very effective camera at a really good price. Like the older Sony A7 mirrorless models, it's an older camera that's enjoying an unexpected second life as a born-again bargain. Effects mode: have fun with a range of special effects, or use Scene Modes for specific situations and locations. Special effects can be applied to both photos and movies, and include Selective Colour, Colour Sketch, Miniature Effect, and Night Vision. You can preview your chosen effect and adjust its intensity as you shoot.
