About this deal

Choose one of the two provided adapter rings that best fits your microscope’s eyepiece and secure it in place.(You may need to remove the eyepiece from the microscope to install the ring.) Then, follow the instructions above.

We found the 8×25 ED perfect for birdwatching on a sunny afternoon, but it also held up well in gloomier conditions. The low close-focus range also makes it more versatile than some of the higher-powered options. It’s a little heavier than the other 25mm monoculars, although the all-metal construction feels tough, and we found the central focus wheel stiff when trying to focus in on distant objects. However, it’s waterproof and comes with a protective soft case and wrist strap. Overall, you’re getting high-performance optics at a mid-range price, making this our go-to compact monocular for serious birdwatching, nature and hiking. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth is worth a million! The Phone Skope is capable of all the same features of your smartphone camera, which includes, photos, videos, slow motion videos, applying filters, etc. Whether you’re using one of the many digiscoping systems on the market or simply trying to hold your phone as still as possible behind your optics, it’s rewarding to share these memories with people. The advances in digiscoping technology make it easier than ever to share images and videos directly to social media since you’re already using your phone. Well worth getting.Easy to fit and align when used with a Moto G5. No clear skies to try any Astro photography yet but got some good wildlife shots. It's like having a 1500mm telephoto on your cellphone. Good service from Harrison Telescopes (10/01/2021) John - South WalesHowever, the best reason to buy this monocular is its phenomenally good image quality. Through the ED Prime glass, even distant objects are beautifully clear and free of fringing, while impressive close-focusing abilities make it just as good for observations at close range. Thanks to the large objective lens and exit pupil, it’s also a strong performer in low light. It’s more than twice as expensive as some competitors, but the Legend Ultra HD makes it worth it. What makes NexYZ different from other smartphone adapters? The three-axis adjustment. Most adapters rely on you placing your phone perfectly on the platform and only offer limited adjustment in two axes. But NexYZ gives you the power to place your phone on the platform, center it over the eyepiece with the X and Y knobs, and then move up or down over the eyepiece until you have the entire field of view in your shot. Unlike other universal adapters, NexYZ features three directional knobs (X, Y, and Z axis) that perfectly align your phone’s camera with the eyepiece in seconds so you are ready to take the perfect image. NexYZ stands up to rigorous field use thanks to its robust, durable construction with a metal frame and polymer body. Good productEasy to use once you get the hang of it, have already had some good results Very efficient sales & delivery service (06/06/2020) Richard - Marlborough

Because the adapter is fitted to the eyepiece it can fit many optical devices easily, as long as the diameter of the eyepiece is between 26mm- 51mm it will work. Celestron NexYZ connects your smartphone to your telescope, spotting scope, binoculars, monocular, and microscope so you can capture images and video through the eyepiece. This adapter works with a wide range of mobile phone models, including all the latest devices from Samsung, Google, and Apple. Modern phone cameras are exceptionally good and this adapter allows you to take full advantage of that easy to use technology. We will try to signpost you to a specialist national or local service if you need more specialised support or advice. Warmer hands now.X,Y adjustment is smooth and easy to line up phone lens with telescope eyepiece. There is also a height adjuster to allow for various viewing positions. I have found that phone video footage is more stable, especially on zoom. Bought on recommendation and very happy. (28/01/2020) Jen - Dorset However, just as a thoroughly decent smartphone adaptor has arrived the game has changed, with now mainstream quad-camera smartphones presenting another big challenge that the Celestron NexYZ doesn’t quite overcome. Hi there. I've not had an ESA phone assessment yet but I've had a PIP telephone assessment in March and it went OK. The lady ohoned dead on the time and it took about 45 minutes. Throughout she remained polite and pleasant and never once rude unlike when I had a face to face assessment a yr previously.

Very good piece of kitWorks very well. Straightforward to set up. Used to attach a spare mobile phone to a binocular microscope allowing children to view images. Good value and fast delivery. (14/11/2021) Chris McC - Hertfordshire Does what it says on the tinEasy to use & inexpensive. A good aid for capturing telescope pictures on your phone. Service and delivery from Harrison very good (13/06/2020) Dave J - SomersetKey specs – Optics: 8x magnification, 25mm objective lens, fully coated ED lenses; Field of view: 6.8°; Exit pupil: 2.5mm; Eye relief: 15.3mm; Close focus: 1.6m; Weatherproofing: Waterproofing; Accessories provided: Soft case, strap; Length: 11.1cm; Weight: 162g Excellent addition to my telescope Having searched online and looked at other versions I am glad I bought this. Well up to the job (03/05/2019) Peter Southern - Corby, Northants

The Gen 3 also upgrades to the X63 modem for the fastest potential 5G data speeds (up to 5 Gbps) in the 7 series. Digiscoping has grown by leaps and bounds in popularity over the last 10 years. It makes filming wildlife from afar accessible for anyone that has a smartphone. Ollin is a magnetic digiscoping system that ensures perfect and secure alignment every single time, all within about a second. There are three main parts to the system: an eyepiece that goes over the ocular lens on your optic, a cover for that eyepiece, and a very low-profile case for your phone (Magcase). These pieces work together to provide the most streamlined and efficient digiscoping experience. An excellent smartphone adapter for telesopes, binoculars and spotting scopes, an ingenious design means this adapter allows easy imaging with your phone camera through virtually any optical instrument. A lightweight yet strong compact design with simple clamping to the eyepiece and adjustment of the smartphone camera position.

One of the most frustrating things about previous digiscoping systems was getting the proper alignment from your phone to the optic. There was always some tweaking that took valuable time away from getting great footage.
