About this deal

I always like to ensure I’ve clocked up a good 20 – 30 miles before writing a walking boot review, which usually only takes about a month, but it’s taken me several months to complete a decent number of miles during lockdown as up until recently, most of my walks had been limited to easy local walks rather than more challenging ‘boots on’ hill walks and hikes. I’m a big fan of the Terradora II styling and absolutely love the range of colours that they come in.

I knew the KEEN Terradora were going to be nice and flexible, thanks to my experience with their siblings, but I was surprised how much cushioning there is.I was carrying a fairly heavy day pack, loaded up with a big lunch plus second lunch, a full one liter metal water bottle, two cameras, my old pair of Keens (just in case these didn't work out), rain gear, ten essentials, and my phone (turned off).

I can’t wear especially thick socks with my Keen Terradora II boots but in all honesty this isn’t a problem as the boots keep my feet warm and comfortable without thick walking socks!I have previously owned two pairs of Keen hiking boots, and have worn each until they were beyond repair, usually around three years of frequent nearly year-round use, in the rough and variable conditions we find in Vermont. I have not previously owned a pair of Terradoras before, so I cannot comment on the "updated" features of this model versus the prior version.

e animal hair's, odors from smoke or fragrances, or any sign that goods have been used other than inspecting indoors. Sheila Bergin Goss enjoys exploring the Vermont trails and mountains on snowshoes or cross-country skis nearly every day, often with her rescue dogs along for skijoring or kicksledding. On our most recent 12k Peak District hike however, I kept the KEEN footbeds in (I forgot my orthotics), and during the whole hike, I only felt a twinge of discomfort in one arch, and that was right at the end of the walk. The KEEN Terradora sandals are comfortable, fit well (with good levels of adjustment), are easy to put on and take off, dry quickly, grip well, and will continue to have a place on my shoe rack for the rest of the summer and hopefully years to come.I have found this lightweight three-season hiker to be comfortable and lightweight, providing solid traction and proven waterproofness. Keen's updated Terradora II Waterproof Boot is described as an "all around trekker," designed with comfort, performance, fit, and traction in mind. Built with dependable traction and grip, each pair has a rubber outsole that gives you the freedom to explore frosty trails or rocky rivers without concern that your footwear won’t cut it.
