It follows the story of Bob, an ordinary man with the extra-ordinary job of keeping the moon clean and entertaining moon tourists.It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you. Spaceman Bob embarks on new space adventures with a disappearing moon, a movie career, clone chaos, a right royal disaster and some heartless robots in this anthology. When Bob addresses human tourists, who wear bubble-shaped glass helmets over their ordinary clothes, he denies that aliens exist; observant readers will suspect otherwise. Simon has introduced loads of children's books but is perhaps best known for his series of books following Bob the astronaut including, The Alien-Spotter's Handbook and in the picture book sequel Bob's Best Ever Friend. I felt it both related to ordinary life (here on Earth) and yet provided some imaginative ideas about a place so far away and only seen (generally) at night.
