About this deal

Controls on the RPM80 are as you would expect from an AIO, a large rectangular fire button and two adjustment buttons. All in all, the controls seem fine, but I just can’t get past the micro-USB port. Every review I blow my top over this, yet here we are, 2020 and still charging AIO like barbarians. The Smok RPM80 pods have been designed for use with the Smok RPM80 kit and the Smok RPM80 Pro kit only. With a 2ml e-liquid capacity, these pods are available in two separate variants (RPM and RGC) and employ proprietary coils (sold seperately). Now we have the 510 Adapter which is specially made for Smok RPM80 Pro kit to connect with 510 atomizers. The SMOK RPM80 Pro review, and I’m almost certain the original SMOK RPM40 Pro pod mod was the first of its kind that I saw available on the market. I’m guessing this might be because you get much better power output from a single 18650 battery in comparison to the internal battery in the RPM40 – so performance is much better.

The SMOK RPM80 and RPM80 Pro Pod Mod Kits are the upgrades to the pioneering RPM40, which feature the attractive and sleek design. They are much taller and wider than the precious RPM40 kit, which is also bigger than most of the pod mod kits on the market. Constructed from zinc alloy, the Kits are sturdy and solid. The well-designed pattern on both sides makes them stand out. The intuitive fire button, adjustment buttons, screen, and the USB port are lay on the front of the mod. But the SMOK RPM80 Pro, with its 18650 battery last very well, especially with the RPM coil, at 25w you’ll happily enjoy 2 days battery life. I tested both included coils with 70/30 3 mg juices. found the 0.17-ohm best around 55-60 watts with the air about 1/4 open, and the 0.4-ohm best around 25 watts. Flavor was good in both, on par with the better mid-wattage DL tanks on the market. rpm80 RPM Mesh 0.4 โอห์มได้แล้ว ยังสามารถใช้งานคอยล์ของ RPM40 ได้ด้วยและสามารถใช้คอยล์รุ่นใหม่ล่าสุดของ smok อย่าง คอยล์ rpm80 RGC Conical Mesh 0.17 โอห์มได้ด้วย ซึ่งเป็นคอยล์ที่สามารถรองรับกำลังไฟได้สูงถึง 80 วัตต์และสามารถปรับการไหลเวียนของอากาศได้ ซึ่งเรียกได้ว่าsmok rpm80 สามารถใช้คอยล์ rpm ได้ทุกรุ่น

Cons

The RPM80 Pro kit is the latest edition to the RPM line of AIO pod systems by SMOK. The company has been making pod style AIOs for a while now, with the Nord and Trinity Alpha being two of the most popular vapes of 2019. The RPM80 Pro belongs in the pod mod category that has been all the rage lately. It comes with coils for DL vaping and medium to higher watt usage, as well as lower wattage options for restricted DL and MTL. I’ve mentioned before that I feel 80w from a single 18650 battery may be a little too much, its certainly a lot of strain on a single battery if you plan on vaping at 80 watts all day. You wont get much life and could effect the battery long term.

The SMOK RPM80 and RPM80 Pro are in essence the same thing, with the only difference being that the Pro can house a single 18650 battery, whereas the RPM80 has a 3000mAh internal rechargeable battery. The differences between RPM80 and RPM80 Pro is the battery type. The constructions and designs between them are the same. The SMOK RPM80 is driven by a built-in 3000mAh battery, and the RPM80 Pro is powered by a single 18650 battery (Sold Separately). The RPM80 Pod Mod Kit is shorter than the RPM80 Pro due to internal battery. Unfortunately, coil life on the 0.17 was disappointing. I only managed to go through 30 mL of juice before it burned out. The 0.4 coil though had great life and lasted through about 80 mL for me. That, along with the much better battery life that comes with using the 0.4-ohm coil due to the lower watt demands (25 watts vs 55-60 watts) make it a much better option for the Pro. The SMOK RPM80 Pro is a pretty large device compared to say the Caliburn, but that’s not the intent here. It’s about the same size as other similar pod mods like the Aegis Boost and the Voopoo Vinci X, and slightly bigger than the Vaporesso Target PM80. Part of the larger size is due to it using replaceable 18650 batteries. It stands approximately 109 mm x 26 mm x 31.55 mm and weighs surprisingly little at 125 grams with a battery in. It’s like having a really small mod on you rather than a pod system. The RPM80 Pro is capable of up to 80 watts, has full wattage adjustability, and uses a single 18650 battery. The non-Pro edition has very similar specs but uses an internal battery instead—if that sounds familiar, it is because Voopoo did more or less the same thing with the Vinci and Vinci X pod mods. There’s a number of features that I look at when trying out a device, and for something to score highly, it needs to meet certain demands. Would this device be long lasting and still work 3, 6 or even 12 months from now?

But either way I’d still leave the coil to fully saturate for a while. And the flavour is just as good. The flavour comes through beautifully and the cloud is not far off what you get from a sub-ohm tank, only a little less dense – impressive. The 0.17Ω RGC Mesh Coil (40-70w)It’s not going to leak much over a few hours, but overnight, I strongly recommend removing the pod from the device and maybe even leaving upside down. Pros As with most pod AIOs these days, the RPM80 Pro feels more like a full-fledged mod. The device features a large color screen on the front that is bright and easy to see. The battery door is your standard latch style on the bottom. It’s easy to open and close, and batteries get in and out without any issue. Really good job there, and the door closes great with no gap. After reading about these being leaky I’ve always removed the pod heads when situ overnight, with both 50/50 & 70/30 juices I’ve yet to experience oil leakage from the coils so hopefully doing the above will eliminate this. As for the device itself, I do believe that both output close to the claimed wattage, perhaps a tiny bit less. Keep in mind though, the RPM80 Pro will handle higher wattages better thanks to the external 18650.
